COMPLEMENTARY & HOLISTIC THERAPIES
The VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Complementary Therapies is an introductory qualification that has been designed to prepare you for a career in complementary therapies. This qualification will develop your knowledge and understanding of the principles and practice and clinic services and business awareness required for complementary therapies. Furthermore, you will learn about anatomy, physiology and healthy eating. You will also learn basic massage techniques.

LEVEL 2 COMPLEMENTARY THERAPIES
The content of this qualification is comprised of all the required elements to work effectively as a complementary therapist: anatomy, physiology and pathology, principles and practice of complementary therapies including health and safety, client care, client consultation and business principles. The Level 3 Diploma is a technical level qualification that provides learners with the knowledge, understanding and skills to work as an employed or self-employed therapist.

WHERE COULD IT TAKE YOU?
The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Complementary Therapies provides progression opportunities to specialist complementary therapy qualifications at Level 4. Alternatively, you may wish to seek employment as a Massage Therapist/Practitioner, Aromatherapist, Reflexologist or Complementary Therapist.
LEVEL 3 COMPLEMENTARY THERAPIES
LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN REFLEXOLOGY
This is a vocational qualification and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a reflexologist including, mandatory units covering the following: knowledge and understanding of the principles and practice and business practice, anatomy, physiology and pathology for complementary therapies. You will also develop your understanding and practical skills to competently provide reflexology treatments.

WHERE COULD IT TAKE YOU?
This qualification will confirm your competence for employment as a reflexologist. You will also be eligible to join a professional association and gain insurance as a reflexologist. Career opportunities as a reflexologist exist in a variety of contexts, including in commercial complementary therapy clinics, commercial spas or salons, working in the NHS in hospitals and care homes and working independently/self-employed/mobile/home-based settings.
LEVEL 4
COMPLEMENTARY THERAPIES
This qualification will enable you to add additional techniques for treatment applied to your existing repertoire whilst further developing your knowledge of the theories and practices for advance applications of aromatherapy, reflexology and body massage. Through this qualification, you will develop your interpersonal skills while expanding your understanding of advanced massage techniques in all three main disciplines. This qualification is designed to give you the essential knowledge to assist you to provide advanced therapeutic skills within a clinical setting.
