STRESS & ANXIETY
This workshop has been designed to provide a proactive approach to supporting staff to manage stress and anxiety. The sessions focus upon prevention and early intervention with the view to empowering staff to confidently and honestly explore stress and anxiety, how it can impact workplace performance and how to support themselves and one another.

SESSION 1

The first session covers both physical and psychological education to support both mental flexibility and self regulation of the nervous system. The day combines information, relaxation and practical exercises, leaving staff with a plan of how to improve their stress and anxiety levels.
SESSION 2

This session takes place between 6- 8 weeks after session 1 to enable staff to reflect and put into action the skills learnt. Session 2 looks at time management and the role diet, sleep and self care have when managing ourselves, our stresses and building resilience.
