Where would go for help if you were affected by suicide?

Our students are organising a Fundraiser, 'Laughter of Legacies', raising money for Liverpool charity, Paul's Place, a Liverpool charity, funded entirely by donations, who provide free specialist counselling for those who are suffering from suicide-bereavement.

On average, 16 people a day commit suicide in the UK.

For every person who takes their life, the loved ones left behind often struggle to cope with their grief and have no idea what to do and where to turn.

The Level 1 Exploration students at Blackburne House want to highlight the issue of suicide and to raise money at a fundraiser to support the much-needed 'Paul’s Place'. www.beaconcounsellingtrust.co.uk/pauls-place/, who work tirelessly to support families who are coping with unimaginable grief.

One of our students tragically lost her 20-year-old son, Karl, in 2015.

The students have organised'Legacies of Laughter' a fundraising event at Blackburne House on Monday 10th December 2018, 11 A.M to 2 P.M to support the charity.

Come along and win fabulous prizes, have lots of fun and eat lots of cake while knowing they are supporting this important charity. There will be a number of stalls, music, games, and delicious home cooked food.

Our student who has needed the support of Paul’s Place says it has helped her in so many ways and passionately wants to enable Paul's Place to keep helping other families, affected so sadly by suicide.

Could you spare a few pounds to help Paul's Place continue supporting families coping with suicide grief?
