Blackburne House Achieves Cyber Essentials Certification

Blackburne House is pleased to announce that we are now a Cyber Essentials certified organisation, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to protecting the data and privacy of our learners, staff, partners and community.

Cyber Essentials is a UK Government–backed certification that recognises organisations which have put essential protections in place to guard against the most common cyber threats. Achieving this certification confirms that Blackburne House meets recognised best practice for cyber security and data protection.

Why this matters to our community

At the heart of Blackburne House is a mission to remove barriers to education for women through further education opportunities and a holistic, supportive environment. As a social enterprise, we recognise that trust is fundamental, particularly when working with women who may be returning to education, balancing multiple responsibilities, or accessing wrap‑around services alongside their learning.

Our Cyber Essentials certification provides added reassurance that:
