"I am so grateful to the many of you who have supported our organisation over the years and me personally. I sincerely ask you to continue to support Blackburne House Group and our new CEO Anne McColl. I will still be around but my main concentration will be as Crown Representative for the VCSE sector, continuing the fight for social justice and a social economy that embraces all. COVID has denied me having a celebration to raise a glass with you all but we hope at a later date to invite you to raise a glass and for me to personally thank you.

Our founder has done so much for women and the community her pioneering efforts have made it easier for the next generation to have role models within this city and beyond. We are sure she will continue to create further change in the next chapter of her journey. As she continues to fight injustice, amplify the voice of our diverse communities and push business for good!
We are looking forward to continuing her legacy for many more years to come!
