UNDERSTANDING CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE'S MENTAL HEALTH

LEVEL 2 AWARD NEUROSCIENCE IN EARLY YEARS
This qualification’s aim is to provide an introduction to the early development of the brain in babies and young children from birth to 7 years of age. It looks at how the social brain develops, the limbic system and self-regulation.

LEVEL 1 AWARD IN STRESS AWARENESS
This qualification aims to improve learners' understanding of stress. They will look at the causes of stress and the effects stress can have on health. They will also learn to recognise the signs and symptoms of stress and look at ways of preventing or reducing stress.
