Biennial Artist Snapshot: Taus Makhacheva

Artist Taus Makhacheva talks about ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) which has inspired her to create a spa and a new video, incorporated into a ruin-like sculptural installation for Liverpool Biennial 2018. Her work explores the delicate relationships between art history, politics, past and contemporary culture.

Liverpool Biennial 2018: Beautiful world, where are you? takes place from 14 July – 28 October across the city’s public spaces, galleries, museums and civic buildings. Taus is hosted by us at Blackburne House from July until October in the Gillian Reynolds Room.
