Blackburne House Nursery are seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager to work with the Nursery Manager to ensure high quality childcare provision, providing development of children in an early years setting by managing Nursery staff and resources to create an environment that encourages all children.

The successful applicant must hold a relevant qualification i.e. NNEB, BTEC National Diploma, NVQ Level 3, CACHE Diploma or teaching qualification. This position also requires experience of working with Early Years curriculum development, the early learning goals in pre-school children, experience of working with children in a multi-racial setting and experience of supervising childcare workers and liaising with parents.

Salary circa £16,000

Brava Design is a social enterprise specialising in website and graphic design, we require an experienced Website Designer to work within a creative studio.

The successful candidate will implement website design projects, and work on a varied range of projects through from concept to completion, with support from the senior website designer. 

You should have at least 1 years work experience, with experience of using Dreamweaver to build websites. You will have design experience using Adobe Photoshop, have good design and layout skills, an ability to conceptualise and develop solutions within the parameters of a design brief. Knowledge of Photoshop, Dreamweaver, CSS and HTML is essential.

Blackburne House Group are looking for a technician to provide technical support to students, staff and customers and to participate in the selection, evaluation and installation of equipment..

Successful candidates will be required to maintain, develop and review stock and security procedures for the Technical Support Department and respond to and resolve user fault calls.  You will also be responsible for the supervision of students who may be placed within the Technical Support Department for work experience.

Successful candidate must be skilled in the use of a variety of common PC applications and be qualified to NVQ Level III or equivalent in a relevant discipline. Successful candidate must also have experience of using,   troubleshooting and managing a range of computer, network, AVA and electronics equipment.

Cafe Bar Porter - Blackburne House Café Bar

10am to 3pm, Monday to Friday. Salary: £5.52 per hour

Blackburne House Café Bar, renowned for its provision of high quality catering and customer service is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Blackburne House Café Bar Team.

You will work predominately in the serving area, working with the Chef Manager, Assistant Chefs and Cafe Supervisor. You will work to ensure that all dishes, glassware and cutlery are clean and fully stocked at all times. You will be responsible for ensuring that the work areas are kept clean and dry and that the Cafe area is kept free of dirty dishes with clean tables and eating areas.

The successful individual must be able to work under pressure and possess a good understanding of and adherence to hygiene guidelines..
