SSE Liverpool comes to Wigan and Leigh
The School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE), an innovative new people powered learning programme is coming to Wigan and Leigh to support local residents to develop and grow businesses and projects that will benefit local communities.
Wigan Borough Partnership through the Communities and Local Governments’ Working Neighbourhoods’ Fund has funded 20 places on the all new SSE programme which starts in May 2010. The programme will run over 12 months in various community locations across Wigan and Leigh and will focus on ‘learning by doing.’
The programme includes business coaching, mentoring support, study sessions and opportunities to learn from some of the country’s leading Social Entrepreneurs. Participants on the programme will also receive assistance when applying for funding and branding their business.”
