Liz has worked in Blackburne House Education for 24 years. She is responsible for the overall management and delivery of all the education programmes and has a wealth of knowledge in all areas of the curriculum. Liz’s background is in electronics and one of her previous roles at Blackburne House was an electronics tutor. Liz lives in Liverpool with her husband and loves spending time with her children and grandchildren. She has a secret passion for power boat racing.
Quality & ASL Learning Manager
Clare joined Blackburne House Education in January 2008. She has been working in education for over 17 years. Previously, she worked in an FE College where she held a number of posts including Quality & Curriculum Development Manager for Creative Industries Department, programme Team Leader; a lecturer in Graphic Design & Art & Design and also as a freelance Designer. Her early career was spent as a Graphic Designer in Manchester. Clare lives in Liverpool with her Husband and two children.
Curriculum Leader - Access & ICT
Judy has worked in Blackburne House Education for 14 years starting as a sessional tutor and eventually working full time. She is responsible for all the education programmes within ICT curriculum area, she also teaches IT at all levels. Judy started at Blackburne House as a student where she studied Telematics and Telecommunication. Judy lives in Liverpool and enjoys socialising with her family and friends and listening to good music.
Curriculum Leader – Teacher Education
June has worked in Blackburne House Education for 14 years starting as a sessional tutor and eventually working full time. She is responsible for all the education programmes within Teacher Education curriculum area, she also teaches personal and professional development. June previously worked at Liverpool Community College in a variety of positions, teaching various subjects including: Women’s Studies and Business Administration. June originates from London and now lives in Liverpool with her family and enjoys spending caravanning weekends away.
