The Blackburne House Work Club will deliver an imaginative and interactive series of sessions to assist with the career development of women looking to enter / re-enter the job market. It will be a free resource that aims to inspire and motivate women so they can build valuable careers in the midst of this recession and beyond.
The Blackburne House Work Club will be an important addition to the range of services already offered by Blackburne House and will enable the organisation to provide a truly holistic service. Helping women with few or outdated qualifications to become completely job ready.
We will give women the opportunity to thoroughly investigate the local job market, with the support of local experts and employers, and update their CV, to maximise their potential. There will also be opportunities for employers to become involved in the work club, to advertise any vacancies and meet potential employees.
Running concurrently with the launch, Blackburne House will be holding an open day which will give you the opportunity of getting a flavour of the courses we will be running in September and to discuss bespoke courses to suit your needs in the workplace.
The Blackburne House Work Club will launch on Wednesday 4th July 2012, between 11am and 12 noon. All are welcome to attend.
